Just got my aid offer. Unfortunately this makes Stanford very unlikely for me.

I don't have anything else on the table as of yet but honestly at this amount I'd almost rather forgo law school in general. Though I'm cautiously optimistic since I applied late so offers are barely coming in for me.actexas wrote:What offer did you get to compare to Stanford?aboutmydaylight wrote:Just got my aid offer. Given your stats + being a URM I imagine you'll get a bunch of great offers eventually.

Agreed. My status date has been sitting at "Your file has been submitted for review" for nearly 11 weeks now. Just get it over with...ravel wrote:Still haven't heard back, i.e. been rejected...They need to do it ASAP because the anxiety is killing me.

Assuming we aren't being trolled and no saturday notifications, we have 6 business days left for stanford to make good on the April 1st notification "deadline"....

I think you're referring to the notification deadline for Advanced Degree Programs. The JD notification deadline is a bit later (April 30): "The Office of Admissions will make every effort to send applicants a first response (accept, deny, or wait list) by April 30." So yeah, it could be a much longer wait unfortunately.angelshare wrote:Assuming we aren't being trolled and no saturday notifications, we have 6 business days left for stanford to make good on the April 1st notification "deadline"....

Stanford is trying to make most of their decisions prior to ASW. If you haven't heard positive newsby then that would probabaly indicate waitlist/rejection.
