Is there a reason why the thread name is a quote from Dante's Inferno? I had to do a book report on Dante's Inferno in high school for my European History class. It was either that or Candide. I opted for the book with the scarier looking cover. I'm a sophisticated one, I know.

Sorry it took so long to mention it; my TLS lurking has been interrupted by Christmas vacation. I'm still rooting for all you guys though. NU is such an awesome school and Chicago is the best city ever.Samara wrote:I was waiting for this.UnamSanctam wrote:This thread title just won the internet. <3333333

Their verification email gets spammed by gmail. Or at least that's what happened for me.darkwings wrote:I am on LSN as well but for some reason they refuse to send me the verification email so they won't publicize my info. So if I applied RD a week ago and didn't get a status checker, I should ask admissions about it?

I would give them at least a few more business days before you call. They've been busy with ED decisions.Dolorous Edd wrote:So if I applied RD a week ago and didn't get a status checker, I should ask admissions about it?

I think loci are always credited, but I feel like the roll in this situation is more like the original UR with a slight bump added, so it's probably not as necessary to write a loci as it normally is.emkay625 wrote:should we write an loci now? or wait until an actual waitlist? any advice?

I think that's more a question for crumps. Personally, I would wait a bit.emkay625 wrote:if you were me, would you write one?JamMasterJ wrote:I think loci are always credited, but I feel like the roll in this situation is more like the original UR with a slight bump added, so it's probably not as necessary to write a loci as it normally is.emkay625 wrote:should we write an loci now? or wait until an actual waitlist? any advice?
