Re: Harvard Law c/o 2020 Applicants (2016-2017)
I think they might do two big Wed/Thurs/Fri waves this year to make up for not having a January wave.LegalAAA wrote:For those who got the JS2: did your/has your status checker changed?
FYI, according to last year's stats, there were waves two days in a row (i.e. on a Thursday and Friday of the same week).
(Apologies for getting everyone's hopes up...)

Trying to figure that out. Both my friend and I have late alphabet last names and we've kind of come at the end of the wave for our acceptances. Because they have to order the calls somehow, they could just order the people alphabetically and make calls that way.LegalAAA wrote:LOL could they be calling based on the first letter of your last name?
But I'm neurotic AF.

I wonder too if all of the interviewers start making calls at the same time? most people are called by the person who interviewed them, correct?VapidP wrote:Trying to figure that out. If it's true then thank my ancestors for having a last name starting with Z.VapidP wrote:Trying to figure that out. Well I'm just neurotic. I shouldn't have any hopes.

Hey everyone, made an account just to post this since I have hopefully a bit of good news!
In as of five minutes ago, and he said he has a lot of fun calls to make ahead so I don't think the wave is near over just yet!
LSAT>75th
GPA=50th
Submitted and went complete 10/26, interviewed 11/16. The long wait is over for me, finally!

Does your last name begin with any of the letters A, B, C or D? I'm hoping your last name is A-something.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
