I feel pretty confident the one TA will, because she said by Saturday, so hopefully she will feel bad and do it immediately tomorrow. Praying! Honestly it is mostly just for Duke. I want to know by the 11th! Also UVA did heaps fast turn arounds last year for people who applied super early.
I probably won't even be submitting til a little after the 11th. :| Do y'all promise to still be excited for me if I (knock on wood) don't get in til the end of the month???

Of course!

Are you waiting on LOR? There are so many people waiting for things I'm beginning to lose track
Yep - I asked for my recommenders to get the letters in by the 11th in order to give them a full 6 weeks, which in retrospect was probably excessive. I don't really mind waiting for them, though, with the exception of Duke PT.

You should be fine, but I get it!

I'm pretty excited for Duke PT, but if it's anything other than an acceptance I'm going to be so pessimistic about the rest of the cycle
Oof yeah that would be a huge confidence blow if that happens...

I think I might get my Duke decision while my parents are visiting me, though, so it'd be really cool if I get in and can see how excited they are. :D

I sure hope so!
Everything I've heard says that your PT chances reflect your MyLSN chances. They obviously want something you have numbers-wise, so you'll have a good shot.

So my recommender (employer) just got back from vacation, so I'm sending him all of my materials now. He asked me to also include some "key points" I want him to touch on - any ideas??? I have no clue what to tell him.

I'd suggest just highlighting your reasons for wanting to go to law school and what, in particular, you'd like to do with your degree. I know some, if not all, of that is covered in your essays, but an easy to reference email would probably be nice for him.
Makes sense, thanks! :)

I'd definitely ask him to talk about a specific time that you impressed him.
Hmm well we just had my annual review and he said lots of great/fairly specific things - so maybe ask him to put those on paper?
