i think the odds of getting a wave today/tomorrow aren't bad
but no, no one "knows" per se. general consensus seems to be that things have been moving a lil slower than they have in past years, which may indicate a lot of impending movement as they catch up/finalize the applicant pool.
They are conducting interviews today and tomorrow, do they ever send out JS2s on interview days? I'd love for you to be right, for the record.
honestly i'm not really sure.. someone ITT may know
i think though that JS delivers all the JS2s herself, which leaves two(?) other admissions officers to conduct interviews -- so it seems that JS2s
could, at least, go out on interview days just fine

Take your pick, really. I think the status checker changing makes more sense personally, I don't think the email notification is automated so it takes them a while to catch up.

I doubt it really matters either, although I would lean towards status checker.

Checking in! We've got the same dates. Complete via status check on 1/23 and received Complete email today. I totally agree that it was just a slow automated email. I'm going by the 1/23 date for timeline purposes.

Not only are there slots open, but new ones have opened up on the 12th as well. Definitely going to be a wave soon.

What days are they interviewing next week? You know, so I can get my hopes up that they'll give out some JS2s on those days...

Pylon's count around pp. 100-105 of this thread had 1 of 14 people from our wave with JS2s. There's also one in the spreadsheet, but that might be the same one. But the vast majority of us are still waiting, and based on where we are compared to the JS1 waves that have had a majority of people hear back, I think there's a good chance some of us will be in the next wave of JS2s.

Yeah, I'm the 1/14 reported in pylon's count and the one recorded on the spreadsheet.
I wouldn't worry your pretty little heads. Admissions schedule has been totally crazy this cycle and I'm sure that you'll all be getting calls soon!
