Finishing up my WL "Why UChicago" letter. I went to undergrad there, but didn't apply through Chicago Law Scholars because of the money gamble. Should I bring this up? My GPA is low so I would likely have been WLed anyway, but I wonder if they took offense or took it to mean I didn't really want to go to Chicago.

Yeah, when is Chicago's deposit deadline? Perhaps we can expect more activity after that day?

Please limit your essay to two pages and submit your essay to admissions@law.uchicago.edu. If you have already submitted a similar essay with your application, you may simply submit a statement of continuing interest and reference the essay you submitted with your application.

(2) If applicable, please provide updated transcripts by submitting them through the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).

The deadline for submitting an additional essay is April 15, 2013. You may submit your updated transcripts to LSAC as they become available. Please note that submitting supplemental materials is entirely optional and we will only accept materials electronically. In addition, if you have not already interviewed with a member of the Admissions Committee, you may be contacted in the coming months to set up an interview.

That or anyone still not WL/Admit/Deny is in line for a recycled scholarship. Personally I'm happy not to be in that pile. I don't want no dirty money that some HYS admit had their greasy, disgusting, prestige-whore fingers all over.

My UVA scholarship was az's before he withdrew and his fingers aren't all greasy and gross so it's not the same.

Dammit, you made me go check. Every LSN applicant who reported withdrawing from a full-ride at UVA got HYS.

I went complete 1/24 and just went under review last week if that helps fill in the timeline at all.

I submitted 1/08 and haven't heard ANYTHING from uChi . I don't follow this thread at all but they're my last school and I'm expecting a wl/ ding. Is this abnormal? Is Chicago behind or something?
