I think we can all agree that Johann would be even more beloved than he already is if they managed to get some RD decisions out today.....

Yeah, you're just on the border I'd say. LSN has a 3.65/172 and a 3.6/173. I'd say you were probably next in line if they were going to give out another one. Sorry dude, that sucks.lawschool13452 wrote:Only one year as a CPA.JDizzle2015 wrote:Nah, you're still a mild splitter. Thanks- it is def. a little frustrating considering that I would almost certainly had the exact same impact on Medians & 25/75 numbers as the others (unless they somehow manage to raise the 75th to a 173 I guess). I thought this was a numbers driven process, dammit!Samara wrote:Yeah, you're just on the border I'd say. LSN has a 3.65/172 and a 3.6/173. I feel your pain, my friend. I had so much hope when I saw Johann's post about their plan to accept splitters under the ED program. But my GPA is just too low. Hopefully, there is not something else terribly wrong with my app as well. Although I do have multiple LSAT retakes.

That's the worst part for me! I want to know if I got held because my app sucked or if the $$$ being guaranteed got me held!

If it makes you feel better, it looks like LSN is showing that someone with a 3.75/172 got held today as well.

FWIW, it looks like everyone who got in ED (according LSN) had at least 2 years of WE. Something to chew on.

Also true- my apologies for taking over the thread with my loathing! Hopefully being held just means we weren't worth the full ride, but they will accept us as soon as they can without having that obligation!Samara wrote:FWIW, it looks like everyone who got in ED (according LSN) had at least 2 years of WE. Also, nobody was actually waitlisted were they? Just held?

This is true for me as well. BTW I am on LSN but I don't know how to make my little shapes appear on the graphs.Samara wrote:FWIW, it looks like everyone who got in ED (according LSN) had at least 2 years of WE. Something to chew on.

Yeah, I don't think anyone was waitlisted. At least, it would seem kind of crazy for a person with those numbers to be waitlisted unless they made a career out of beating baby seals to death.
Thanks, Samara! I didn't realize that. I suppose for next year's applicants, the criteria for acceptance to the ED program are shaping up to be:
GPA: 3.5+
LSAT: 171 or higher
At least 2 years WE

You need to fill in your decision date so that it knows which cycle to put you on. Also, you might want to add a k or a ,000 or I'm going to keep laughing at the idea that NU literally gave you $150.basilseal wrote:This is true for me as well. Hmmm, then I may be overestimating how valuable the ED scholarship is. Or not realized how much they've lowered tuition.basilseal wrote:Who says they didn't?Samara wrote:You need to fill in your decision date so that it knows which cycle to put you on. By the way, just have to ask. Is there a reason why the thread name is a quote from Dante's Inferno? I had to do a book report on Dante's Inferno in high school for my European History class. It was either that or Candide. I opted for the book with the scarier looking cover. I'm a sophisticated one, I know.

You made the right choice. I think the warning to "Abandon all hope" referred to the endless waiting endured by many here.kennethellenparcell wrote:By the way, just have to ask. Yep. Now that every EDer has received a decision (right?) we need a new thread title. Ideas?basilseal wrote:You made the right choice. Held with the exact same stats. Too bad because I'd love to live in Chicago. Oh and I guess the $150k woulda been nice too.lawschool13452 wrote:Held with 3.6/172...am I the only one that had numbers like this ED who got held?kennethellenparcell wrote:Not sure, but doubt it!
