How are you sorting applicants like that on LSN? (Forgive me, but I'm at work and can't tinker around much).

I'm still on 1/27...maybe they're splitting us into reverse and traditional splitters? I'm way more of a reach than you, so have hope!!!! Good luck!dolfan0516 wrote:Under review today again! 1/27 and 2/7. Prob a bad sign if you have these dates considering Penn is a big reach for me lol

Is anyone else sitting at complete with no activity since 1/17? Also, does anyone know how long it usually takes between going complete and going UR?

Took me 2 months, but it could take you a shorter amount of time. Penn is usually slow to go from complete to URNDIrish2012 wrote:Is anyone else sitting at complete with no activity since 1/17? Also, does anyone know how long it usually takes between going complete and going UR?

Re: Penn c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
FWIW, I really haven't seen much evidence of Penn grouping applicants statistically. It seems like it's about as simple as a chronological ordering by complete date. I've been looking for these patterns to get any clue whatsoever regarding my own fate, and I really don't see them. I don't think you should be worried about your "batch," probably means nothing.martorem wrote:I'm still on 1/27...maybe they're splitting us into reverse and traditional splitters? Same dates. I'm also a reverse splitter, and it's kind of a reach for me, too.dolfan0516 wrote:Under review today again! 1/27 and 2/7. Prob a bad sign if you have these dates considering Penn is a big reach for me lol

Went complete 12/02 and have had two review dates, the last being the 1/17. Anyone else in a similar situation?

Does anyone have information on the prognosis for held applicants? I can find almost nothing through the forum search, nothing like the others schools that seem to have a large number of held applicants.

2nd UCR 2/2. Today is exactly 12 weeks since I went complete. Do they stick to the 12 week timeframe fairly well? I know some people are still stuck on 2nd UCR, but maybe they went to UCR faster than others?

Interesting news from the Yale thread:

Me too, and Penn does do phone calls and I almost lost it. I wanted to kill John from Political Opinions of America. HAHAhookem12 wrote:Just got a call from a PA number. "Hello, this is John from Political Opinions of America..."
dsjfhksdhjgkjd. I don't even think Penn does phone calls, but I was hopeful.

So I was UCR 1/12 (I believe) and now 2/7 does anyone think I might hear today? It seems like people think some decisions come out today. or would it be the next time decisions are released?
Also... what time do the calls come?

Re: Penn c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Possibly today/friday, but I think next week is more likely. I was 1/12, 2/1, and I didn't hear last week, expecting a decision today or Friday.JoeMo wrote:So I was UCR 1/12 (I believe) and now 2/7 does anyone think I might hear today? Calls usually go out between 2 and 3:30ish, although some people have gotten wake up calls at 9:30 am, so who knows.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
