Are you getting emails that say you've been held, or is it just on your status checker?

Getting e-mails. My status checker updated to 1/13 after the e-mail, but still says UR.

On the HLS blog post, they mention only holding people whose application went complete over 2 months ago. Anyone who went complete after around 11/13 should be safe for now.

Can someone clarify the different levels of "completion" here? Because I was UR 12/23, but got a complete email 1/12. I was under the impression that the complete email meant something different here, no?

I do have the impression that they use the "hold" as a sort of "look, we can't really tell you anything, but you've been waiting for a while, so we're acknowledging that we've looked at your application."

Oh, so your status checker can say "File Under Review" long before you get the "Application complete" email? Can anyone weigh in on this?

Just got the held email. UR 11/16, complete 11/23... like a wise person on this thread said, better than being rejected
