Do we have any reason to believe that UVA has filled up its class or exhausted its scholarship money? Seems like there haven't been any decisions in a while.

On the scholarship money, they've said that they're out until after the deposit deadline.

Submitted 1/26, UR 2/3. Just got an email today requesting an interview from an associate dean of admissions? Hoping that's a good sign and at least there will be some decision soon LOL

Sounds like a great thing to me! When did you go complete and under review? Also good luck!

I submitted on 1/26, I'm not sure when it said "complete." I've been at UR since 2/3 and that hasnt changed!

Some folks are still waiting on responses, while waitlist are likely at this point from places like HLS and NYU, I know that I'm one of many holding on to those apps.

I'm starting to realize that not applying until January was a terrible idea. I still haven't heard back from my top choices, and only finished interviewing last week

I think I'm more of a unique case.

Applied right before deadline at 3/5.
Accepted through email on 3/9 w/out interview request because I had already met the dean of admissions at an event last fall (not sure how true this is because how could he remember one person out of the hundreds).

Still waiting on other T14 schools, but planning on going to ASW and UVA def shot up to one of top choices after seriously considering it.
As for stats: GPA < 25%, LSAT ~75%

Maybe everyone on Duke's list will see that Duke is out of the top-10 on USNWR for 2016-2017 and so will withdraw, opening the door for us. I truly have no idea how heavily Duke uses its reserve list, but Michigan said that the better bet this year is on more applicants coming off WLs rather than fewer.

Submitted my application mid-December, had a phone interview request last week which was conducted yesterday. At the end of the phone call they informed me that I had been accepted. Said they would send all the admission stuff in the mail but I'm wondering if there will be any scholarship money at all.

First of all, congrats!

Secondly, there's a good bit of info on the UVA class of 2019 thread about scholarships, but they've basically said that they are not issuing any more merit aid until after deposit deadlines. And even then it's unlikely. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think that's what's up right now.

I asked Dean Faulk that in my interview today and he said that all initial money has been offered already, and any additional scholarships will be offered based on accepted students that decline their offer

No change since 11/17 - Sent Why UVA, updated resume a few weeks ago, and still radio silence. Should I bother calling or sending a LOCI?
Sucks because UVA was one of my top choices. Oh well.

I sent in a Why UVA end of February or beginning of March since I didn't do it when I originally applied to show continued interest, UR 11/12 I think, and still no movement.
