One of those 3 update people (whatever, 1/6, 1/9) and could generate ASW password. Neat! This takes a bit of the sting off the Berkeley reject and the strange Michigan email...

Yes. If I'm wrong, you can buy about 50 people a drink because we'll all need one.

Thanks for reminding me about this! I could generate it, too! Brightens my day after getting WLed by Notre Dame=)

Congratulations to the people who ASW-backdoored their way in today!
Who has got the patience to wait for an email/snail mail these days anyway?

Seriously...my boyfriend just told me to wait for my letter and that I was acting nuts with this whole ASW craziness. Silly engineering grad students have no idea.

Does Georgetown give merit aid? Or is it just PILS and need based?

username/pw to asw do not work for about 4 days until after you can generate them. This has been the rule to this point, not the usual, not the sometimes, but for those of us who once upon a time religiously checked the status checker and tried to generate usernames, 4 days was the time it will take before it works. Franklyscarlet and I went through this together, its a painful wait, but it yields an eventual login.
For those admitted that interviewed - have any of you been contacted by your interviewer again to ask if you were going to attend? Mine texted me to congratulate me, and a few days later indicated that dean cornblatt wanted to know if I was attending. I am excited about GULC, but a little turned off by the hard sell.

Yep- mine told me they were asked to contact us again, although I had already emailed her (she was super awesome and I'm going to stay in touch).

Yeah, I totally planned to stay in touch because I really enjoyed the interview, vice my NU grilling. But, I didn't like being asked if I would attend. I paid 2k in applications, I want to see my cycle through. I've already outperformed my numbers, and I really want to see how my softs play out in the rest of the T14.

True. Perhaps yours just took it a little too literally- from what my interviewer told me, they asked her to "gauge interest."

Interview: 12/15
Application Complete:12/21
Application Complete:1/3
Application Complete:1/4
Address Corrected + Citizenship Updated:1/5
Application Complete:1/9
I tried generating ASW login information twice daily since the 3rd and today finally it went through!!!!
Does anyone know approximately how long it takes from this point until I receive the actual Georgetown envelope?
Thanks!

In general, about how long did most of you wait after submitting your application to be offered an interview (if you were offered one)?

Maybe a week or two? But I also applied mid-November and was on the border in terms of numbers.

For me it was a little over two weeks...
Edit: Same as above in terms of mid-nov application and borderline numbers...

Actually, I checked the dates and it was a little of two weeks, but part of it was Thanksgiving. I also had to request a confirmation email and status checker from them (I didn't get the original one for some reason).
