Unlikely, but one thing I can say as an international applicant: USA has too many national holidays right in middle of application season

LSN shows a JR2 on president's day of last year.

I think those are elaborate trolling attempts, there is a single JR2 for MLK as well, which caused a lot of speculation but in the end nothing happened on that day.

Well, I believe there were actually a lot of JR2's reported on the Harvard thread last year on MLK, which is what caused the speculation for that day. I haven't looked into President's day, though.

There were rejections right before the mass hold in January. Not a ton, but a few. Are they rejected holds though? If so that would be scary.

For some reason, I am not sad or disappointed at all. It could be that I wasn't ever expecting to get in, or the Xanax i took this morning is finally kicking in. lol

haha thanks guys. yeah i'm still fist-pumping my way to the bank! I've been spending this week realizing that most likely my cycle is very much over... LOL bad week. but at least I get to finally start deciding where I want to go

I'm remembering that I was expecting a WL at best at the beginning of my cycle and that I grew unrealistic expectations. Where I am right now is as good as I could reasonably expect.

That's so true. I was super realistic about my chances at every school when I turned in my apps. But now depending on the day sometimes I read stuff on TLS and think there's no way I have a chance, and other days I feel like there's no way I'm not getting into a certain school. Hurray for false hope!
