Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I also did not have a date change, and I am still sitting at UR 12/30/2015.
But whenever I despair, I just remember that the "Committee takes a holistic approach to the review of applications. This requires an extraordinary amount of care, and thus a significant amount of time. There is no way to predict an exact date on which a candidate will receive a decision."
I am reassured by the fact "that the Committee is giving very careful consideration to [my] application."
And I also take solace in the fact that "applicants will receive a decision by the end of April, if not sooner."

By this point I think Stanford and NYU are waiting for me to sacrifice a medium-sized farm animal before they give me a decision, but i'll dare to dream otherwiseGoogleWasMyIdea wrote:Thanks! Forgot to say, I submitted in the first week of November. Hopefully that gives some of you who have been waiting since last year some hope!Topszn wrote:Congratulations!GoogleWasMyIdea wrote:I was able to change my password and access ASW, so I guess that means I'm in!

I don't think they would accept anything less than a large-sized farm animal sacrifice from me. Even then I might only hear from them in the afterlife.Topszn wrote:By this point I think Stanford and NYU are waiting for me to sacrifice a medium-sized farm animal before they give me a decision, but i'll dare to dream otherwiseGoogleWasMyIdea wrote:Thanks! When do you think we can expect an NYU Law '19 Facebook group??
I don't expect they will be sending out any more acceptances.

I mean they sent one out today I don't see why tomorrow would be out of the question. But after that I'm gonna put my deposit in elsewherePrayFor170 wrote:You can create one.Gracie615 wrote:To all those still waiting -- fortitude!

I can't believe it, but I got in several hours ago!!! Had been UR1 12/8 and then wasn't UR2 until yesterday. There's still hope if you've been waiting as long as I was!

What could they still be deliberating about?

Opinions needed. I got a crappy merit scholarship from NYU despite a 174 LSAT and > 75 % GPA. Will they negotiate scholarship based on better offers from 2 other top 6 schools? I expected much more. I sent the appeal with both other offers. Thoughts on success rate?
