She said in an interview that they were expanding to 1200 JS1s, and historically they accept 850 people or so, so yeah, its (sort of) true. Of course, the way you stated it makes it seem like once someobe get to the JS1, their chances are the same as everyone else at that stage, which is probably not true. For example, a 175/4.0 who has a JS1 may have better than a 70% chance. However, this does mean that 70% who get JS1s will get in.
