Apologies if this has already been discussed, but what are everyone's thoughts about attempting to negotiate scholarships with Michigan despite the letter stating they do not engage in such practices?

I emailed them a few weeks ago about scholarship stuff and they said that they would love to look at other offers I have, so I would definitely go for it.bzzingbee wrote:They definitely do. Hello all! Wanted to let you know about an apartment that will be available for sublet over the summer. It is a fully furnished 1-bedroom apartment on Central Campus (William St. and State St.) - about a 5 minute walk to Law School. It is on the second floor above a local business and is very spacious and sunny with huge ceilings/windows. Best location in town, literally steps away from all of the State St. restaurants/retail/bars/coffee shops. All utilities are included except electric, which runs around $20/month. Asking $700/month, but willing to negotiate. Parking is not included, but you might be able to take over my spot a couple blocks away at no extra charge.

I've been eagerly awaiting the need-based aid tool. It's February 27th. I hope they don't let me down on their "late February" promise.
