The deposit deadline is April 15th. And they said they are releasing merit aid as part of an ongoing process. So you could possibly be getting some, but you might not. Great to have such concrete info! I mean, its only the biggest financial decision most of us have ever made. Who needs clarity and information in order to make a decision? The Pen Is Mightier wrote:So wait. Do I have this straight?
My Agora award was the base 20k Stafford loan and that's it. Now I can get the GradPlus loans as well to cover COA. I was pretty confident about this part.
But now you're all saying that there's still a chance for merit aid, even if I haven't heard anything yet? And isn't the deposit deadline like, today?
I really like BC and merit aid could definitely sway me, but right now, if I'm paying sticker, I have options that excite me more. But I have to pay the deposit in order to hear if I'm getting aid?
When is the deposit deadline, btw?

Does anyone know how to check if one's deposit is received? I've emailed the office for confirmation but did not hear back from them.

Yup, went DR 3/30 and I got a letter yesterday. Waitlisted. 3.0/168.nowinGA wrote:Has anyone who went DR 3/30 heard anything yet?
Anyone have any encouraging anecdotes of past waitlist success to spur me on as I write a LOCI?

Accepted today via snail mail! Completely baffled by Agora...does anyone know what the "Law validation form" is?
I am not able to view my financial aid award because they need this along with my tax return, apparently.

if i'm not mistaken, you don't actually need to submit the law validation form or tax return yet. you only need to send them in by june, if you are accepting the financial aid package they offered. the law validation form is here: --LinkRemoved-- when you need it.
i think if you can't see an award yet, it's because they haven't posted yours yet - it'll probably be a while since you just got accepted. bc is wicked slow.

Was shot down for merit aid at BC unfortunately. As much as I like BC, I won't pay sticker. Will be withdrawing soon.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
