Maybe my GPA addendum & everything else in the app will help.
Same here, I don't feel like I'm in hard splitter territory with a 3.45/177, although the GPA is very low for T14. It makes this process even more of a crapshoot than it would've been with a 3.0/177. Hopefully soft factors will come into play.
Yeah, I feel like an outcast because my GPA wasn't bad enough to be grouped in with the hard splitters....
Good luck with your cycle tho!

Brooklyn indeed. Looks like acceptances are still being sent if the letter was marked 1/26. I kinda thought this wave was over.

Yeah I think their first "wave" spans out over about two or three weeks and then they start the WLs, holds, and rejections.

It seems like there are a ton of people with lower LSAT scores (by Columbia's standards) getting in this year compared with last year. What gives?

Yeah, with Harvard and Columbia both accepting a bunch of low LSAT, high GPA people, who the F is Stanford going to accept?

I was thinking the same thing the other day; my 4.3 index at Columbia and my 25th percentile LSAT made my admission surprising.

Won't be so surprising when you get your YLS acceptance.

They don't call the URM candidates?

1/26 So, definitely a new wave!
OMG bless you!!

That does the opposite of easing my mind!! D:
Dear Columbia,
NYC is my thing! I live here! There is edible Chinese food!
Also, I have wanted to attend your university in some capacity since I was 17.

Posted this in a different thread too, but I figure someone here might know...
Does anyone know how many Hamiltons and Butlers they offer each year?
