It seems like they're rejecting people as they go through the remaining applications rather than send out waves of notifications. Has anyone been accepted this week?
UR1 since 12/8, received the "your app is still UR" e-mail 2/8, no movement or news since then

Thank you for your email.
The Committee on Admissions strives to release each individual decision as soon as possible. A holistic approach of the review of applications requires an extraordinary amount of care, and thus a significant amount of time. There is no way to predict an exact date on which a candidate will receive a decision. Applicants who complete applications by February 15 will receive decisions—admit, deny, or wait list—by late April. The Committee on Admissions recognizes that some law schools have deposit deadlines as early as April 1 and will ask a candidate for a commitment before that candidate receives a decision from NYU School of Law. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to accelerate our process in these circumstances. We regret that from time to time a candidate must move forward with their plans before receiving a decision regarding their application.
We greatly appreciate your continued interest in New York University School of Law.
Kind regards,
I might just withdraw. I understand 'paying for a response' but seriously... what a mess. 7+ months!!

Are you allowed to deposit at one school before receiving a decision from another? I understand you can ride out waitlists while being deposited, but what about "no answers" like from our friends at NYU?James.K.Polk wrote:Welp, sorry for letting you down. I get that, but you don't have anything to lose by not withdrawing. Who knows, maybe they accept you and give you some money and they are all the sudden your top choice. I mean, if you want justification, you wouldn't be the only one. I withdrew recently without having received a decision. I've already made affirmative steps towards my decided school, so that definitely made it easier.James.K.Polk wrote: Fiiiiiine, TLS is the anti-impulse I need. Nevermind, you calm-headed TLSers are better people than I; I withdrew anyway. I decided I gained more enjoyment from a semi-passive-aggressive email than I would from any sort of decision.lymenheimer wrote:I mean, if you want justification, you wouldn't be the only one.
