WLd today. What is consensus on best way to try to get off the WL? Is it supposed to be possible to get off Penn's WL?

WL this evening. I know I should've anticipated it, but it was nevertheless disappointing.

chinny123: Don't remember the exact dates, but they were around yours. First UCR was in second week of February and then updated the third week of February. Good luck!

Regatsrj: Congrats! Your numbers being almost identical to mine hurt, but it's great to see people get in (lots of WL at Penn lately). Is Penn your top choice?

Oh man, I'm sorry. I would've left my numbers out had I seen your earlier post

Penn and NYU are probably my top choices. I love NYC, but I also love Philly, and the relative affordability of even nice neighborhoods like Rittenhouse Square is pretty appealing. It'll probably come down to financial aid.

Our number combo seems to be right in the gray area for almost every non-HYS school in the T14, which is such a bitch. I know this is cliche to say, but I'm sure you've got some other acceptances from great schools.

Me too! Submitted in Nov and was stuck at UCR since 1/4 since then. I actually called last week since I was concerned that they forgot about my application or something. SO excited!

WL today. I applied in early/mid December. My numbers are 175/2.98 I wrote them a letter saying they were my number one choice and that I would write a check for a seat deposit as soon as it was offered. I am pretty disappointed. I grew up around Philly and was hoping to get back there for law school. There is always Temple but, man, Penn would be sweet.

I'm not sure. It'd be mental suicide to go back and try to sift through 100+ pages, but from what I vaguely remember there were a good portion of people who went UCR 3 times, but it was not unanimous. I believe some people even only went UCR once.

I've been complete since 02/05... any guesses on how long I'll have to wait to go under review? I'm worried that if it takes too long there won't be any spots left for someone with my numbers.
