I got an email from New York law school and was convinced it was a ding from NYU 15 minutes after being waitlisted at Michigan and I almost completely lost my shit.

I need to start drinking

UR1 since 12/12 here. I have a friend who's currently a 2L at NYU, he submitted his app in mid-October and didn't hear back until April 1st. Apparently it's normal to stay UR for awhile without any movement

Is there a consensus on whether going UR2 on Monday means DLS on Tuesday, or was that just a coincidence? So UR2 today means DLS tomorrow?

No, this hasn't really been something that happens. The was one time where people went UR3 on a Monday and got accepted the next day but even that was an outlier. Unfortunately, it's mostly random
