Most I've seen have said 11pt font, so I've been doing Times 11pt with 1" margins.
11 pt font and whatever default margins are on my comp
Awesome, thanks! You've saved me from another day of endless adjective and comma deleting!
If there are a bunch of commas and adjectives that you can delete without taking away meaning or making the essay sound clumsy, then you should consider taking them out. Also adverbs. F*** adverbs.
I write the same. Very direct and little to no fluff.

You should be afraid. I'm 5'3" and built like a bowling ball. You'll never know what hits you

except you're built like a linebacker and could probably kill me

I'm spending all day tomorrow in the library working on apps, so I'm taking the afternoon off from law school stuff and enjoying some football.

I had a lovely afternoon reading kids books in the park with a friend. Back to work now, though!

I'm having so much trouble writing a good conclusion. IMO it's the hardest part of any essay to write and also the most important since it's going to be giving the lasting impression.
I'll have time tomorrow to look at it if you want to send it my way.

Happy to start looking these over generally, since I won't have to start reading them for work until December/January.
Edit: generally not involved in admissions processes, but part of one specialized program that requires me to read specialized essays.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'll be headed outside the t14 because of debt adverseness.
