Uh, did anyone get an interview email?! I didn't know Cornell did interviews!

Edit: Okay I see a few interview offers were sent out last week.

Here's what the email said
For the past several years, we have tried to make interviews a meaningful part of our admission process. We do this because we are a small school and the mix of students we attract is high on our list of priorities. By selectively interviewing applicants, we think we do a better job of choosing people who not only have the academic ability to succeed as students, but the personal qualities to succeed as engaged members of our community. We choose people for interviews based on a variety of factors, with the important qualification that we do not interview anyone who is not otherwise a strong candidate for admission to Cornell. Our goal is to interview a significant number of the people who ultimately join us, and our experience is that this means we need to interview about 150 applicants. You are one of the 150.
We also realize our interviewing process delays things for you. This is why we promise we will give you a decision (admit, deny or hold) within a week of your interview.
Guess I'm calling to set one up.

Hey Everyone. Received a Cornell acceptance email about an hour ago!!! 167/3.76 RD. Thought my chances were 50/50 at best. Just to disclose more information for others who might wonder, my status checker changed to a third complete yesterday. Congratulations to everyone accepted and good luck to those of you still waiting!

RD. I took a look at past threads and it seems like interviews are for YP purposes.

For future references: I'm above 75th for both LSAT and GPA. I also go to Cornell for undergrad and wrote a Why Cornell.

lol stop that mi hermano.

AFAIK, all the mexican urms on TLS that got into Cornell also got into another school they'd prefer instead. with those withdrawals i don't see how you couldn't get accepted.

Well I got drunk and left an expletive laden message at their admissions office, that certainly couldn't have helped.
