Anyone have any advice on whether it's worth an addendum for an upward GPA trend if there weren't really any serious circumstances behind it? Will they notice on their own?

I'm no expert but I don't think there's any reason to write an addendum for that, especially there's no explanation or circumstance behind it. Considering they've been doing this for years I'm sure they're very well trained to look for upward GPA trends and I don't think they're looking for an weak explanation because it pretty much explains itself. But what do I know?

That was my thought process, especially since they really seem to emphasize looking at the whole application and I don't think I'm an auto-reject. But the conventional wisdom on this site generally seems to follow the 'better safe than sorry' logic.

I'm already including an LSAT addendum (I'm a retake that gained 8 pts)

I got another 4.1 this semester (last two semesters as well) my ugpa is 3.7... I'm gonna update my transcript with lsac but should I let Berkeley know I'm doing this? Any opinions? I was gonna shoot an email to some reaches telling them I was updating my transcript

Ahhh, no wonder they don't <3 me. Nobody has ever accused me of being a silent type; in fact, I'm fairly well-known for my loquacity.

Poor Oli won't know what to do now.

I merely repeat conventional wisdom that was often spouted on this thread. No individual insight is involved.

i hate it when people use words like this.

why oh why managamy, can't you just say 'talkative'? or 'i like to babble?' why oh why must you make me use the online thesaurus? again. and again.

on a side note, i also hate it when people use the word 'indeed' at the end (or beginning) of a sentence.

like 'it is indeed, good sir!' or 'indeed, i do seem to have fallen down an abandoned well!'

indeed, didnt ur first example use indeed in the middle of the sentence? sure at the end of a clause but no real sentence ending punctuation following it, indeed.
