I don't know, after reading more about the waitlist process it just doesn't seem that many schools (including SMU) really do make much movement on the waitlist... I'm hoping they do but the odds seem to be against it

I was able to see my scholarship info before paying my 2nd deposit.

On that note, I just paid my 2nd deposit, so I'm down for the fall!

So I received a late increased scholly offer from another school. Would it be wise to shoot SMU's finaid office an email to see if they could match? It would be helpful and it has worked for me for other schools. Anyone know?

I don't believe SMU matches. I think they give their best shot up front.

They were all "XXX street is shut down Saturday" and "XXX building won't have AC" and "Watergate attorneys give speech on Wednesday" and "Church time updates" But nothing really LS related. It took me about 40 mins to wade through all the crap.

Does anyone have a good guess as to when they might start pulling people off of the waitlist? Hoping it's not as late as last year, I'm just trying to figure out how long I can wait on putting a deposit down on an apartment up in MD. Thanks.

All the information was sent via hardcopy letters. They assign you a student number and password.
