The HLS site says school is open today, despite 8-12 inches falling this morning. I imagine quite a few people will be working from home.
But, c'mon: what warms the heart on a cold day more than delighting folks like us with JS2s?

+1
Hoping HLS operating normally means JS2s.

Can someone check to see if any JS1 slots opened up?

There is precedent for early and mid-January JS1s to hear back in February, so while not a guarantee, I think it's definitely possible you could hear back sooner.

Doesn't look like it, just a few left over from the last wave.
Darn. But thank you!

I googled it but couldn't find anything, is there any set date that we can expect a response by?
April 1

Did that wave miss TLS? I thought that there were a bunch of open slots reported on Friday morning, but then no one reported a JS1.

On a scale of 1-10, how crimson is your blood?
Also, Hilde, I will be very disappointed if you don't replace at least one option with something allowing you to heap you with praise for the wonderful job you've done running this thread.
Oh Bear you're being too sweet to me especially since I was cranky earlier today

Also I like the idea of this poll! I can only put 10 options total so a few will have to be cut and I may take some creative licensing with the wording but they are great! Let's just hope we get some JS2s soon so we have a reason to celebrate.
I vote nay on this one - it's basically the same as the "Why is Harvard the best school" one that we just finished. I still like mine better (or the "things to do in Boston" one).

I think having a poll about best things in Boston/what we're most excited about could also be fun.
I have been missing Boston terribly lately so this would allow me to channel all my feelings of longing in a productive way.
You're welcome.
But more seriously, I've never really been to Boston, so I'd appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what the city offers (outside of HLS).

HLS needs to start the JS2s so I can get started on the new poll! I will probably need to keep a box of tissues by my computer and play "Charlie on the MTA" while I create it.

You should post potential options in the thread first so I can do research before the poll actually arrives.
but srsly I want to see people get JS2s

Had an extremely vivid dream last night that no more JS2s were happening till the 15th. I need to stop thinking about this.
