Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Woke up to a voicemail (I'm in Taiwan) letting me know I've been admitted. I received the "not forgotten" e-mail in early February, LSAT = 25, GPA > 75.

When did you submit your application and when did it go complete/under review? Much appreciated!Flipper001 wrote:Woke up to a voicemail (I'm in Taiwan) letting me know I've been admitted. I received the "not forgotten" e-mail in early February, LSAT = 25, GPA > 75.

Never got the "we haven't forgotten you" email so was very surprised for the call today.

Exact same situation. Applied first week of January, UR1 since 1/19 and nothing. I even sent a LOCI and I'm still not under UR2EYD457 wrote:Complete early January. And it is Under Review 1/21/2016 since then... nothing in between. Anyone in the same situation?

Similar dates for me (UR 1/11) with LSAT above 75th and GPA between 25th and 50th.periwinkley wrote:Exact same situation. Applied first week of January, UR1 since 1/19 and nothing. Is your LSAT pretty substantially over the 75th? I'd like to think that taking so long to hear with numbers that should guarantee certain admission based on LSN and the LSAC acceptance predictor is a YP thing so that NYU will accept me after I've presumably heard back from most schools and not withdraw my app, but that's definitely an optimistic take.periwinkley wrote:Oh my god. Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
No, not substantially but based on that tabulation someone posted a few pages back, it's high enough where I still could get in even based on my below median GPA. If yours is much higher than 75th then I think their delay on getting back to you probably is YP. I'm sure lots of people are withdrawing now since scholarship info has been released for other schools, which hopefully frees up space (and maybe even $$$) for those of us still waiting.Dante181 wrote:Is your LSAT pretty substantially over the 75th? I went UR 2 two days after UR 1, (1/11 and 1/13) but now my date says 1/11 again. What does that mean?

Officially told the school that I won't be attending. The next person who gets accepted must grant me a favor to be claimed at some point in the future.

Re: NYU c/o 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
Welp. according to myLSN today was the last major wave of admits last year. After that you were pretty much destined for the waitlist.
The year before, no one was admitted after mid-March (though the year before that they seemed to be letting people in until the end of the first week in April)
How are we feeling, everyone?

Daaaamn. I think I'm about to be the first waitlist on lsn in the past few years for my stats. Epic.TheKisSquared wrote:Welp. according to myLSN today was the last major wave of admits last year. After that you were pretty much destined for the waitlist.

I do like that if we're destined for WL, we all get to know together, so at least we/you are not alone!tsujimoto74 wrote:I'm feeling an impending sense of doom. If it makes you feel any better, some of my apps haven't gotten past "complete" yet (I'm side-eyeing you, GULC/NU).proteinshake wrote:I'm still UR1 since 2/19!!!!!TheKisSquared wrote:I do like that if we're destined for WL, we all get to know together, so at least we/you are not alone!tsujimoto74 wrote:I'm feeling an impending sense of doom. I did at least make it to UR2 with NYU, though.

Was really hoping for another admit wave today. That dream is dead.

You CAN obsessively check the admitted students credentialing thoughcoldmonkey13 wrote:GULC never goes past complete, even if your acceptance letter is in the mail.tsujimoto74 wrote: If it makes you feel any better, some of my apps haven't gotten past "complete" yet (I'm side-eyeing you, GULC/NU).
