I'll most likely withdraw from the the waitlist; I doubt I have a shot of getting off. I want to practice in the northeast, so BC would be a more suitable option.

Planning to Withdraw today. I've just decided that I want nothing to do with Chicago or the Midwest in general. Staying in the South just makes more sense for me. Does anybody know if email will satisfy the "in writing" stipulation on the deposit refund?

Anyone still waiting on a response from admissions? I feel like it's getting to the "come on, this is ridiculous" stage.

Good luck, but I think I should tell you that it seems unlikely at this point. I'm on the wait-list and the email they sent us said that they'd already given out too many acceptances.

I'm still waiting, and this is getting RIDICULOUS! You're right that it doesn't look good (for many many reasons) but there were a couple people who were admitted after the big wait-list wave, so we have to have hope.

I'm still waiting, and this is getting RIDICULOUS! You're right that it doesn't look good (for many many reasons) but there were a couple people who were admitted after the big wait-list wave, so we have to have hope.

i was admitted after that wave with $ (waited 4 months) - not as much $ as i would have had if i were admitted earlier, but in the end admission here was pretty numbers driven.

WUSTL extended my deadline til this Friday. I'm pretty 50/50 right now.

Called today and asked Admissions this exact question. I was told within the next 2 weeks people will be informed via email.

Same here

I've done the same, though I sent my email after the deadline so they couldn't blow me off with that answer... instead I just haven't heard anything.

Hannibal is the only person I know of on here who has successfully negotiated so far.
