Thanks!
I'm on the WL and haven't received any e-mails at all. Good luck!

Did you ever send a LOCI?
Actually, no. I did send e-mails to some of the admissions people who I had met in person, but no official LOCI because I'm a bit conflicted about paying sticker here when I have a decent scholly elsewhere, though Fordham was my top choice. I was waitlisted in early March - were you waitlisted earlier?

Kathryn Espiritu is insanely quick with responding to emails, and she's also very friendly and helpful. If you do send an email, I'd send it her way.

Dude, just walk down the street and look for a sign that says "passport photos". They're all over the place in Manhattan. Or, if you feel sketchy walking into a random place, CVS will do it.

Can I ask what everyone is trying to budget for an apartment? I'm considering moving due to the horrible mouse infestation I've had for like 6 months and am curious what everyone's trying to stick to. I know the dorm allowance is, what, 1600/mo, right? Is anyone thinking of paying that or are y'all trying to keep it low?

heeeeeeeelll no $1600 is ridiculous. i'm trying to keep it at or around $900 in a 3 bedroom with my friends

edit: but of course if you want a 1 bedroom, it's a different story.

Admitted off the waitlist today! I am SO SO SO SO excited! I have to think long and hard about the finance situation (i.e. giving up a full ride at a school at top of the second tier). But I really want to attend Fordham and am going to see what I can do!

Same here. I want to live close but I just can't come up with all the move in fees. Plus I might not be able to get something paying over the summer in NY, so it's nice to have that dorm insurance.
