No, I never got any confirmation after sending in the wl form.

Officially withdrew today after being admitted back in December. I was recently awarded a $60,000 scholarship ($20,000/year), too, so my withdrawal may free up some merit aid as well.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to withdraw. I had a personal reason for considering USC (and UCLA) for this long, and as a result I could not withdraw from either school until now. Better late than never though, right? If you want to know why I had to stay in consideration until now, send me a PM.

Good luck to those of you still waiting. I hope my spot goes to someone on TLS.

I'll be going to Stanford, unless Yale decides to admit me, in which case I'll have a tough choice to make.

Join the club, friend. I'm on week 24 of completeness. Earlier in the thread, you'll find plenty of discussion about how annoyed and frustrated a lot of us are. You might even find a few quality conspiracy theories if you read carefully enough -- feel free to add your own. Enjoy!

3.0/168 went In Review on 3/26. Have not gotten a decision finalized yet and my stats are not terrific. On the other hand I had a serious family issue(death) my freshman year that bottomed out my GPA for a while. Anyone else still IR 3/26?? Just hoping for a WL haha.

I was IR for only a day, yeah, I'm a reject.
159/3.74, I never had a real chance of acceptance. I was waitlisted at some other lower T20s so I thought I might get a soft reject. I had an LSAC fee waiver so I figured it was a worth shot.

Yikes! DR 3/31--it didn't even go in review...just straight from complete to decision rendered---

No need to be apologetic, getting an acceptance means you get to hold onto it until you're good and ready. I don't think some TLSers grasp the concept of yield anticipation; individuals holding onto their acceptances doesn't greatly affect how many more people they admit, because they admit many many more than they expect to accept.

did you go DF on 3/31, final?

A few pages back someone called and received the news that they were dinged, though someone else mentioned that it was a mixed batch (says admissions).

In other news, week 11 IR.

anyone DR'd last week get their mail yet today? The decisions were supposed to go out on Friday so maybe some local kids will get theirs today?

i thought waitlists aren't looked at until they're done with all the other applications first. So everyone will need to get a decision first (accept, reject, waitlist) then they start looking at waitlists, which is usually after the deposit deadline (May 1st).

+1. They don't really know how many spaces they'll have until after deposits are in.

The deadline is May 1st? Thought it was April 15...
