FYI - that saxamaflob profile is extremely strange. It was created in December and was like the #4 viewed profile on LSN after like three weeks. I think it's fake.

That would be one elaborate troll, haha

I mean, the profile was getting literally thousands of views per day until it hit like 16,000, when they suddenly slowed to a trickle. It seemed very odd.

No, I'm not a troll or a flame or whatever they're called. Really, I'm just as surprised as some of the people on this thread… let me tell you that it's going to mess up my plans for finishing next week's homework!

and just to head-off any more speculation, the only reason I found out about the discussion of my profile here is that nixxers, a friend of mine outside of the forum-world, let me know about it when I posted my surprised, all-caps message to facebook! if she's still watching this thread, she can vouch for me

Oh, and I'm definitely among the most un-URM applicants out there… (unless you consider blond/blu Swede a URM)

Ah, so it wasn't just me to which this exact thing happened, down to the same dates. pleasepickme, my April 15 Y/S WL twin - sorry it didn't work out! (Though I suppose it's not over until you get the letter in hand.) I bet you have some great options though.

Maybe it's worth emailing them instead of calling? They might respond with an email. I would LOVE IT if they emailed, just get it over with faster!

I just wanted to comment on this: they didn't e-mail me out of the blue. Rather, it was a response to a LOCI I had sent after getting (apparently erroneous) confirmation that I was still UR. Since the response was not sent until a few days after I had sent the LOCI, I'm going to say that calling is faster than e-mailing.

Good luck to Core, pleasepickme, astro, adameus, everyone else (likely) still UR!

aw thanks!!! no news yet here. I'm on the WC of Canada though so a letter will probably take a little time to arrive. Saxamaflobs call today gives me hope that maybe I will get one tomorrow! I know none of our chances are great, but you gotta keep hope alive!

well good luck to those still waiting to hear/on the waitlist. i'm declining my place on the wl. stanford has a great programme, but it wasn't my 1st choice and isn't strong in areas of my intellectual interest (pil). also don't want to move to the US. in any case hope everyone here ends up with fantastic legal education!

That probably doesn't mean much, as URMS generally have long cycles. Especially us non-auto-admit URMs.

Not need to be sorry, I was just stating that some have gotten responses back already. But they did apply in Sept/Oct.
