I'm sure this has already been posted somewhere here but just in case anyone missed it, this is the most recent Cycle Data from Spivey, dated as of 1/29/16. Looks like some significant increases at the very top of LSAT scorers, which may explain why HLS is delaying their JS2 waves.

On a scale of 1-10, how crimson is your blood?Hildegard15 wrote:I'll probably still change the poll the next time JS2s go out, so in the mean time feel free to suggest other poll ideas.
10 - I was born with "Fair Harvard" playing in the background.
9 - My parents, my grandparents, and my great-grandparents all went to HLS. That's right, everyone on both sides of my family.
8 - I could walk to J.P. Licks from any spot in Cambridge, blindfolded.
7 - I know the stats of every Pilgrims game for the last 3 years, and I'm not even from Boston.
6 - I wore a crimson blazer for my JS1. My socks and underwear were also crimson, just in case. I just want Harvard to love me!!!
5 - I can quote lines from any Harvard-related movie. Yes, there is more than just one, and you know which one you were thinking about...
4 - I've visited the campus a few times. It's cooler than New Haven or Palo Alto anyways.
3 - I like Harvard exactly in proportion to their need-based grant award. I know there's some secret merit award too, just waiting on the call.
2 - Eh, Harvard would be alright, if I can stomach the future students. Have you even read the rest of this thread? Oh boy.
1 - I only applied to Harvard so I could turn them down out of spite.
0 - The hell's a "Harvard"?
Play around with it a bit, I don't pretend to be a comedic genius, and my sense of proportionality is probably a bit out of whack (there's probably, for example, more than one level of Harvard love in between "better than YLS/SLS" and "I wore crimson underwear to my JS1"). Also, Hilde, I will be very disappointed if you don't replace at least one option with something allowing you to heap you with praise for the wonderful job you've done running this thread. I for one like the musical poll, mainly because I intend to hold each and every person here accountable for showing up to a TLS Musical club during our 1Ls.*
*Disclaimer: I am actually very under-educated on musicals and plays, and would very much appreciate if someone else would take on the mantle of organizing everything. If you put me in charge, we'll end up at some shoddy production of "Macbeth, in SPACE!" You have been warned.

Not hugely into musicals, but I thoroughly enjoyed "Once". And according to wikipedia, it premiered at a theatre in Cambridge, so obviously this is the HLS musical of choice.

I just had my interview on the 29th, so I'm not expecting anything for a while, but I'll be cheering for the rest of you all! I can only put 10 options total so a few will have to be cut and I may take some creative licensing with the wording but they are great! Let's just hope we get some JS2s soon so we have a reason to celebrate.

Lol, with your stats I don't think they will need that much time to put you in the JS2 pileBearlyalive wrote:I just had my interview on the 29th, so I'm not expecting anything for a while, but I'll be cheering for the rest of you all! Yaay poll! Thank you!
I think having a poll about best things in Boston/what we're most excited about could also be fun.
Also is everyone ready for the massive JS2 wave tomorrow where everyone ITT will be accepted?
though Hilde's link is killing my hope for myself

I'm not even applying to Harvard but somehow I got hooked on checking this thread and now I am obsessively refreshing it in the hopes of seeing all of you get your JS2s (especially Hilde). Cheering y'all on from afar!

Boston public schools are closed tomorrow due to snowstorms... commence frantic checking of HLS Admissions twitter for their status.

Only on a Harvard thread are people posting about league of legends in the middle of the Super Bowl.

It was tough for me to decide who I wanted to win. I have always loved Peyton Manning, but I have lived in North Carolina for the past three years. In the end I'm glad the Sheriff came out on top; now he can go collect a massive check from Budweisercantorb wrote: Some of us had to update our avatars.

1.) As a Niners fan, it became basketball season awhile ago. The only concern about the Super Bowl is how the disappointment is going to affect Steph.
2.) No Book of Mormon, seriously?
