Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Unfortunately no. Didn't think about SAT/ACT until I was taking them, and only applied to schools when my parents basically forced me to. Went to a school with a full scholarship, so the decision didn't cost me anything but opportunity, but I think I could have had much better personal and professional development if I had gone to another school. I think the experience is what makes me so focused on ensuring I pick the right law school.Tr3 wrote:So how many of you were on collegeconfidential for undergrad admissions? lol

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
looking back, I don't really understand my choices for undergrad applications. I feel like my only criteria were how fun the city was and how warm the weather was.
...so no, I wasn't on college confidential

University of San Diego
Tulane
William & Mary
Fordham
Idk what I was thinking. Thank god for CC's as a safety net.

Lol yeah thinking about being in grade 12 choosing an undergrad is mind-boggling. I knew nothing then. I still know nothing now, but I knew even less then!xylocarp wrote:looking back, I don't really understand my choices for undergrad applications. I only applied to one school for undergrad, but in Canada admissions are much more obvious based on numbers, and I knew I could get a full tuition scholarship to whichever I wanted, so just went with the one I wanted to go to.

I am app. 100,000x too risk averse to do something like that, but sounds like it worked out so coolAuxilio wrote:I only applied to one school for undergrad, but in Canada admissions are much more obvious based on numbers, and I knew I could get a full tuition scholarship to whichever I wanted, so just went with the one I wanted to go to.

Re: TLS c/o 2018 Applicants
Like I said, in Canada most universities are pretty much by the numbers (even down to their entrance scholarships are just in categories by number). So with a 99% average (it is all in percentages, I THINK America is more just GPA?) and no SAT equivalent except for English the only question for my school of choice was if I got 4000 or 6500 a year from entrance scholarship rejection would have been unthinkable - you do not even submit personal essays or anything, just transcript. It just did not make sense to me to pay 200 dollars on an application fee for other schools.Big Red wrote:I am app.

Me, for sure. I had a particularly tough choice at the end of my cycle. I think I even posed the question to xoxoth.Tr3 wrote:So how many of you were on collegeconfidential for undergrad admissions? lol
