Did a lot of us have a 1/30 or 1/31 update last week?

Are you ED->RD or AJD? A lot of those people had updates before they got decisions on Friday.

I'm curious about this too. I'm RD (complete on 1/11) and updated on 1/31. I might have had another update somewhere in between, but I can't remember for certain.

I went complete early December, update early January, no decision. RD.

Getting a date update does not automatically equal a decision is coming.

I really don't see any reason to doubt there will be decisions today. They've been very regimented with their Tues waves, and like I said earlier, just 3 weeks ago they didn't release them until 4pm CST.

I have learned to hold zero expectations regarding any patterns, deadlines, etc. when it comes to admissions. It's just better that way =)

Numbers for you guys? I'm RD, complete mid December, and no updates since then. GPA at the 25th percentile and LSAT above 75th.

I've said this before but it bears repeating: the 6-8 weeks from December 1 is NOT a guarantee. Last two cycles there were people who waited 11+ weeks for a decision. Don't pin all your hopes on next week.

Dooders, I know waiting is hard, but you guys are working yourselves up way too much over specific dates. Believe me, the admissions office doesn't run that way.

Agreed. But they specifically told me over the phone (when contacting them about something else) that all remaining AJD decisions will be released by Monday or Tuesday.

Tuesday has been the pattern lately. But the "make a push" thing might imply that they will try to release a huge batch of decisions later in the week. Also on days decisions have come out hadn't he trolled everyone pretty hard with early tweets not related to decisions? But it's silence today so maybe that means no decisions are coming. Or maybe the silence is a metatroll and decisions are coming and we will all get a full ride! Or maybe..

This. When I saw this I was like, "Yay! Finally a school that says for sure when I will get a decision. 6-8 weeks sounds nice and solid and not open-ended at all."

Who wants to write a letter voicing the concern that 8 weeks have passed without his/her decision being rendered, and ask whether the application might have been misplaced?
