Who here believes that (a) JR's impression of you is integral to the decision of whether or not to admit you, or (b) that it's essentially a psycho-check intended to stave off serial killers and people who can't string a sentence together.
Thoughts?

Maybe for people at the margins of the green zone, it can be a factor...like me. Many applicants are at those margins, and they have to choose which ones to accept and reject somehow, so I believe the interview is at least worth a little bit.

Don't be concerned if it didn't seem to go well. I talked so fast that he had to ask me to repeat myself, and I still managed a JR2. Try to relax.

Hold email this morning... the quick turnaround = not good!

man is that brutal. a one day turnaround for a hold seems crazy. you have to wonder with a turnaround like that if they had their minds made up already before the interview (but then why would they give the JR1? it's confusing). do you mind sharing #s?

complete email = neutral. it does not guarantee you will or will not get a JR2 or anything like that

Gah, Monday cannot come soon enough. Of course when it comes and goes with no call, it'll be a different story...

Yep, which means I'll be doing nothing but staring at my phone from 9-5 this Monday and possibly many Mondays to come.

This is one of the few times I appreciate the time difference here in CA... less of a wait.

At least I didn't have your anxiety (though I'm still missing my SLS admission) - opened my email and was like... well shit, might as well throw me in the WL or Reject pile

ps - has anyone been WL'd yet, or just holds?

JR1 12/22

Still no JR2, hold, or anything after the complete email that came right after JR1.

Should I be panicking yet?

you and me both sir/madam. although my JR1 was a bit after yours. i think we are in *slightly* better shape than the hold people, but it could be a very short time until we get our own hold emails

This is torture! I didn't sleep at all last night, and from the looks of it, this could be but the first of many angst-ridden Mondays for me.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
