has anyone here withdrawn their waitlist from Loyola? Anyone know for sure how many people are on the waitlists? e.g. FT, PTE, PTD

Do scholarship offers come with the acceptance package, or later? I was accepted last week and am probably going to withdraw soon, but would rather wait until after I receive my scholarship package, if it's coming.

Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
My scholarship offer came the next day, via e-mail and the letter about a week or so later. That may not be typical, though.Holly Golightly wrote:Do scholarship offers come with the acceptance package, or later? Decision rendered 2/10! Query: was there any changes on status tracker for admit/reject? Also, how long did it take to receive notice? Thanks!

My status checker updated to DR for a date in the future, and I was accepted the next business day. Good luck!cogito2010 wrote:Decision rendered 2/10! Query: was there any changes on status tracker for admit/reject? Also, how long did it take to receive notice? Thanks!

Mine came about a week later. Based on the other posts, I'd says it's variable. Maybe you can contact the school and they'll tell you whether you have an offer or not.Holly Golightly wrote:Do scholarship offers come with the acceptance package, or later? I got 20k per year and have to keep a 3.0 to keep that. I really want to go to Loyola, but that's still a high price per year with no money to live on. I'm going to try applying for the full scholly. I hope I have a chance at it.

My status just changed to "Decision Mailed." I got a sense from what I read here that they e-mail acceptances, is that correct? In other words, does my status mean rejected?

Loyola does not email acceptances, however a few days after I received my letter of admission in the mail, I received an email concerning merit aid.Danger wrote:My status just changed to "Decision Mailed." I did not receive an e-mail acceptance, either. I did, however, receive merit award via e-mail.GoodToBeTheKing wrote:traehekat wrote:Loyola does not email acceptances, however a few days after I received my letter of admission in the mail, I received an email concerning merit aid.Danger wrote:My status just changed to "Decision Mailed." Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
Didn't bother to check previous posts, but I remember seeing on the Loyola status checker that they won't email decisions or inform you of the decision via the status checker, so I just figured that was true. So I guess some people receive emails about admission!GoodToBeTheKing wrote:traehekat wrote:Loyola does not email acceptances, however a few days after I received my letter of admission in the mail, I received an email concerning merit aid.Danger wrote:My status just changed to "Decision Mailed." Re: Loyola Chicago 2010
My decision was rendered on Feb 8. I got two emails on Feb 10: one saying congratulations and telling me how to log in to the admitted students' site, and the other telling me to submit the fafsa. I received the packet a few days later via usps and it contained scholarship information. Neither email contained scholarship information. I hope that helpsJerome wrote:I did not receive an e-mail acceptance, either. I'm going to visit tomorrow. Never been to the city (or the school) so I'm excited.
If I like it, hopefully my expressed interest after the visit can get me off of the WL.

got an e-mail inviting me to attend an admitted student reception, and status checker says a decision has been made. Is it safe to assume I got in?
