Thanks! I was notified via e-mail. They said that they were in the process of re-evaluating waitlist candidates, so hopefully you'll hear something soon!

Re: Catholic U 2010
For those of you who are heading to Catholic this fall or current students, I was wondering where most people live? I'd preferably like to live in Arlington, but I'm not sure how easy the commute would be (I think around 20-30 minutes overall?). I'm open to any suggestions for D.C. neighborhoods as well.
Also, is there any way to find roommates through the school or are we supposed to do that on our own?
Thanks!

It depends on what you are looking for and how you want to commute. Wether you metro or drive, 20-30 minutes is a really low estimate for commuting in from Arlington. If you are younger or jkust like going out and socializing I would look at the Ballston and Clarendon areas. They are metro accessible and there is a decent amount of restraunts, bars, and shopping. Crystal City and Pentagon City are nice but a bit quieter.NYVA311 wrote:For those of you who are heading to Catholic this fall or current students, I was wondering where most people live? If you want to live in the District, I would suggest staying on the Red Line because it will really help with the commute. I live on the Hill and love it, but downtown/Chinatown isreally nice (though pricier), DuPont Circle and Woodley Park are also nice areas that are metro accessible.
If you want to talk more, PM me.

I am currently working on it. I am under the impression that it is available to all in-coming students.elaw86 wrote:Anyone else working on the essay for the $10,000 scholarship opportunity? I just got off the waitlist about a week ago as well for the FT program. Did they tell you how to go about everything this late in the game? (financial aid, housing, etc.)brittbee wrote:Agreed. Did anyone else submit an essay for the O'Brien scholarship?? Just got confirmation that they received my essay... they said they'll be awarding the scholarship in the next two weeks.
