Re: Univ of Georgia
From people I talked to last cycle, it seems that 164+ gets you accepted early on, and if you are below 164, and they want to accept you, they won't until after the holidays. My acceptance took 8 days, but my cousin who had a 156 was accepted in february after applying mid-November last year.

Yes, 2 or 3 people have stated they have this (myself included). I am pretty sure it means we are so unwelcome they refuse to even examine our applications.

Make that a reading comprehension fail for me. Sorry. Prior to disappearing, my file was under review, so maybe they are updating the status checker (for a really, really long time...)Yes, 2 or 3 people have stated they have this (myself included). I never went under review. I missed a box on my app, so they sent me a copy to fill out and return. That was sent back around Thanksgiving, but I think my checker disappeared a couple days ago.

Re: Univ of Georgia
Just sending in my applications today, but I have a few questions in case any Georgia students are lurking.
Is a car a necessity in Athens? Is there rail service to Atlanta for weekend trips? Thanks, UGA is my first choice and I think I have a great shot at admission, so I'm just trying to plan on whether or not I need to buy a car before law school.

is it bad that the main reason i'm upset over the lack of status checker is that i can't stalk LSN to find out how others are doing?

Ther is no rail to Atlanta. I'd buy a car b/c if you end up doing a summer associate job in Atlanta you will need it there for sure.

Just got my login for the status checker and am under review. Not sure for all you people that have been under review and had your status checker link disappear, but there was movement for me as of 4:00pm EST.

You'll just get what, fined? It'll be worth the 100,000s of dollars more you make over a lifetime after graduating from Georgia instead of richmond.

No thanks.. I'll be happy at Richmond. I want to go to a Virginia school. My father went to Richmond and I have a strong connection to plenty of alumni.Nicholasnickynic wrote:Break the ed. Holy crap.
