Now I'm curious if those who were able to log in still can, or if they've plugged the hole, so to speak.

oh noes, it looks like it's been reset now. My login doesn't work, but I don't want to create a new account. I'm just gonna chill.

Likewise. Even yesterday I couldn't get in. It looks like all we can do now is knock on wood and hope we don't get dinged! These next two weeks are going to pass even slower than they otherwise would have, though.Veritas wrote:oh noes, it looks like it's been reset now. Also, I sent in my app a few days before the ED deadline and got both the received and complete emails on the 28th of Dec.

Should we assume that all ED apps who haven't reached a decision yet are deferred to RD and will hear on 1/15? I think that's what happened last year, according to LSN.

Re: The George Washington Law School 2010
From what I saw on LSN, many ED applicants got a RD decision on the 15th of Jan, but we're not guaranteed anything except a decision for the ED application by that time. From what I understand, after they defer us to RD, then can get back to us whenever they want.jk11287 wrote:Should we assume that all ED apps who haven't reached a decision yet are deferred to RD and will hear on 1/15? does anyone know if you receive some sort of notification that a decision has been reached, or does the decision just show up one day in your mailbox???

Re: The George Washington Law School 2010
Most of the people accepted so far have gotten an e-mail with their decision and a notification stating that the formal decision is coming via snail mail.WMCowgirl wrote:does anyone know if you receive some sort of notification that a decision has been reached, or does the decision just show up one day in your mailbox???

Any idea when RD decisions will start coming out for those who applied early? Also do scholarship notifications come with the decisions or later on?

From LSN it looks like last year the people who were deferred from ED were either accepted on 1/15 or rejected on 2/20. I would assume that RD starts somewhere in between.

I got an App Complete email the day after I applied in early December and an Under Review email on 12/28. I hope that this means they got my Dec LSAT score.
I'm guessing they send UR's out in batches..

The website says ED applicats get their decisions no later than Jan. 15. Does this apply to those who get deffered to Regular Admission? Or there is more waiting for those who are considered for RD admission??!? I called the admission, but did not get a clear answer

To me, deferment says that you are no longer an ED candidate.azb wrote:Does this apply to those who get deffered to Regular Admission? Or there is more waiting for those who are considered for RD admission??!? I called the admission, but did not get a clear answer

Re: The George Washington Law School 2010
I just spoke with a very helpful woman in the admissions office.
They'll be snail-mailing out all information for those who applied ED on the 14th or 15th of this month. This not only means the ED result, but also whether we have subsequently been admitted as part of the regular decision pool.
Additionally, she said that these packages would include alternative scholarship information for those who would be receiving any.
So, I guess now we know exactly when, how, and what to expect.

Thanks for posting that info. Did they mention anything about emailing as well? Did they specifically say they were only going to do snail-mail?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
