Yes, EA. Says wait 10-14 days for the written decision. Here's hoping the postal service is a bit more efficient than that.

Congrats!! When did you go EA Complete?

Well, I'm not sure if I'm in yet, just that they've decided. I was EA complete on 10/8.

I went complete around the 10th (of oct), and still haven't heard anything.... does that mean I'm rejected?

Last year's LSN had the first decisions rolling out around December 2nd, so it looks like the timeline is about right.

Nope -- there are plenty of folks who applied before you; it's going to take a while to get to all of us, trust me.

Yeah, I would be shocked if somebody with decent numbers would be getting a reject/WL this early.

It looks like everyone who got a decision (whos talked on the board so far) was complete a week before you. Why would that mean you have a rejection?

Cornell's status checker has been so buggy for me. Right now I'm getting a: "Your JD Application is ready for review by the Admissions Committee. If your JD application was complete by the #Request.EarlyActionShutoffText# Early Action deadline...."

I got an email from Cornell asking if I'd like to be considered as an EA candidate since my goods were in by the deadline (I applied RD). Any chance this is a good thing beyond receiving a decision by the end of December?

From what I can tell, they were just e-mailing that out to everybody who got in before the deadline.

That's what mine looked like ever since it was complete, until it switched to decision.

haha...yeah it was that way for a couple of other people on here, including me. my status checker was normal from when i went complete in early oct until first week of nov, when it turned buggy.

Sorry, I thought, from the original post, pre-edit, that it was November 10.

Just have to wait and see -- looks like the people hearing back are still a few days ahead of you.

Went complete 10/2. Not a thing. I'd say we shouldn't worry about it. There are so many factors that go into the process, wtf really knows.

Exactly -- this early, and with such a limited sample, it's impossible to tell everything. Particularly because Cornell's EA system isn't binding, I imagine they take their time to pick and choose applications to process based on what they anticipate as need. As far as I can tell, few and far between are the AdComms that make decisions on applications exclusively in the order that they arrive.

I think last year after your status checker went to decision, if you were admitted there was a link to the admitted students page that appeared on your status check. Any "decision" people see that anywhere on the page?
