My application has been complete for over two monthes FSU is the last school of consequence I'm waiting to hear back from! Is this normal for them to take forever? I flew through UF admissions in less than a month!

12/28 complete and still no word........not sure if I should approach my FSU app like my WashU app since the latter doesn't waste their time sending out rejections until late in the cycle (if at all) and both have been in limbo for some time.

Hey! I'll be going to Scholars Day next Friday, and I currently go to FSU. If anybody has any questions, wants a tour of the city if you've never been here, wants to go out Friday night, just let me know! Tallahassee is a great city, and I'm nice, I promise

My aunt's lawyer in South FL is an FSU Law grad, and he told her that FSU Law doesn't like taking a lot of its own undergrads... that's honestly the only reason I can think of with your numbers. Maybe they thought you wouldn't go?anp06 wrote:I dont really have great softs but nothing negative. I go to undergrad at FSU as well...Oh well

Two years ago I went to an event at the law school and their little speech dude told us that at that time 24% of the class was FSU undergrads and 25% were UF undegrads.minuit wrote:My aunt's lawyer in South FL is an FSU Law grad, and he told her that FSU Law doesn't like taking a lot of its own undergrads... that's honestly the only reason I can think of with your numbers. That sounds like a good idea! I will do that. I love the way that Tallahassee, as a city, looks. I'm from the mid-west originally and the old spanish oaks and other foliage are just a lot prettier down here. I'm also in love with the architecture of FSU's campus. I will try to convey these emotions in my ~photography~jlnoa0915 wrote:Post some pictures if you can. Upset I wasn't able to afford a flight down from NJ.minuit wrote:Hey! And yeah, I cannot stand the prices for the airport in Tally. My meteorology prof told the class that the reason tickets are so expensive and so few companies fly into Tally is because of the amount of fog we get annually. The cost/benefit isn't worth it... which sucks. I fly out of Orlando when I travel!

I just emailed with admissions office and am going to schedule an appointment to go visit. I'm in the ATL, so I'm taking the 4-5 hour drive.

Yes, but that's because I would like to go into PI, and I am considering the crazy debt of GW because of the possibility of using the LRAP or IBR plan. I go back and forth daily!Tuyarp wrote:By the way, are you seriously considering GW, minuit?

There's a FB group for those who are admitted; it's called Florida State College of Law 2013 Admitted Students.
You can post questions to current students and meet potential classmates on it. Check it out.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yea those tickets were heinous, even with the travel stipend the trip was over my budget.minuit wrote:That sounds like a good idea! I will do that.
