Hmm. No waitlist email either. A straight ding, then? I guess my GPA was more of a hindrance than I thought.

I also just got a waitlist email. Waitlisting me seems to be the popular thing to do this year.

Hahahahahaha. Love it.thesouthside wrote:Just called duke, they told me that my mom should have had an abortion...
I just got an e-mail placing me on the waitlist. 167/3.7x/non-URM. Been complete since 9/26.
Based on the yield rate people have been talking about on this thread, and none of my own research or insight, I'll probably stay on and see what happens.

Re: decision at duke
So the consensus looks like, overwhelmingly, 2/13 decision was a ding and 2/17 was a WL with a few exceptions?
Edit: and if this board is at all representative of the general Duke trend, the waitlist has about 7000 people on it?

I applied dual degree and my status checker changed to the cryptic "Your file is under review. A decision has not yet been made." a couple of days ago.animalcrkrs wrote: Anyone else? Wonder if the dual degree applicant waitlist emails go out in a seperate wave? (Hopeful, hopeful)

waitlisted! 164/3.88. Waitlist seems to be the most popular outcome for me. But at least no school thinks I'm rejectable...yet!

Re: decision at duke
I got WLed as well.
I'm curious to see how many people make it onto the priority reserve list. That's likely the first place Duke will turn to when accepted candidates withdraw.
