It may be somewhere else- but I haven't found it. I think salaries also vary fwiw but it's meant to be a cheap way for firms to hire an associate for a year and salaries start at 40K I believe (I doubt anyone is making more than 50-60). I also can't find stats as to how many people stay with the firm, but it's probably too early in the program to tell.
I'm not trying to say don't go to Cardozo at all because I'm considering it- this is just one aspect of their stats that makes me curious/worry.
Using the* 2015 disclosure -- 33 out of 362 or approximately 9% of the 2015 graduating class were employed through RAMP. I'd imagine that eats into the Employed # breakdown whether it's bar passage required or other.RAMP jobs offered to recent graduates have increased almost four-fold since 2013, when the program was created. In 2015, 130 employers partnered with Cardozo Law to offer jobs through RAMP, and to date, 33 students from the class of 2015 secured jobs through the program.

tbh it was luck for her getting the job. I met her while I was doing an UG intern and she was doing the same internship as me. I always thought that kinda sucked for a LS grad but she mass mailed and eventually got something after a year of being out of schoolbaseballfan660 wrote:you prob don't know this, but do uk the starting salary, and if he/she was pumped for the job, or it was like a backup plan/ lucky to have a job.Mikey wrote:anecdotal but I had a friend who graduated median at dozo and works at a small firmCharlie802 wrote:

damn, that doesn't sound too great. Was she awkward or anything, that would lead you to believe she flubbed interviews? this was during the summer of 2015. and no, she seemed like a great person, very friendly and outgoing, we all loved her and had a small party when she landed her job. she just said that it was really hard for her to find a job being at median. idk about her salary though.baseballfan660 wrote:damn, that doesn't sound too great. I know a current 3L who got a job though, and I believe she is around median. so I think from dozo, being median is hit or miss.
keep in mind, this is anecdotal. there could've been something wrong with her interviews, etc. that prevented her from having a job sooner. I'm just stating what I know about her and since I thought it was really weird she was doing an unpaid internship that was mainly for UG's since she had passed the bar already

Do you know if she regretted attending Cardozo/thought her prospects were limited do to the school?
It is heartbreaking she took an unpaid internship as a law graduate!

I actually asked her if she'd recommend Cardozo for me and if she regretted it. She said she didn't regret it, she liked the school and said it's a good school. What she did say she regretted though was not doing better on the LSAT to get more scholarship money.lillawyer2 wrote:

Hey can I ask why you're so interested in W&L? I'm currently debating between Cardozo, SJU, and W&L. I have a very specific reason for considering W&L (most people I spoke to never thought about it). I applied to W&L pretty late but they accepted me a week or so later. I found that strange, possibly suspicious since my numbers weren't that great to begin with.Ferrisjso wrote:Also loved the people at Dozo, wasnt thrilled by the facilities though(although to be fair I went when it was snowing and maybe this colored my mood negatively. I don't want big law. However, I will take any percentage boost I get. As a NY school Fordham gets a lot of respect and leads the pack of lower ranked NYC schools. Their alumni is on point. They hire their own, are fiercly supportive and their career services is on point with employment opportunities for students. They have very good connections. (I know many Fordham grads and students.) Also when it comes to competition for jobs after NYU, Cornell, Columbia and a few T-14's naw through them like hungry, hungry hippos...Fordham is next in line to chow down. Then their is aesthetic reasons. The new school is beautiful. Lincoln Center is amazing.
Cardozo on the other hand won my heart. They are so nice. Everyone was so nice. Cardozo it seemed like you were talking to a mom or grandmom. I guess warm is the right word. I felt safe. lol They did present me with a good scholarship. However, there is much that led me to assume their is some-more struggle there and I would not be happy with my prospects. I do know some people from the school who are really successful, but they are connected in their fields, have high profile family members and chose Dozo because they are Jewish. lol
I am actually going to do more research and see if Dozo has some student groups/concentrations that I am interested in. Dozo was also the first school that accepted me. It will always have a place in my heart! They made me feel so special! I still ponder whether I am making the right choice.
Btw i wasnt being sarcastic about Sallie Mae going to Columbia Law is something people would literally kill for(if youve seen yale reps modern rendition of Macbeth youd know what im talking about!) Im considering signing my soul away to Sallie Mae Washington and Lee if they take me off the WL.

Re: Cardozo Law C/O 2020
Well I applied because it seemed like a school in a region I wanted that I could get into and maybe even nab money from. That clearly didn't work out because they just have small class sizes. Became more interested when people said my most likely outcome was getting stuck in a small town in the middle of nowhere which sounded really appealing to me.lawlschool2020 wrote:Hey can I ask why you're so interested in W&L? Has Cardozo not submitted their 2016 employment #'s or am I just not seeing it? I thought all schools had to submit to ABA by 4/8 or so.

Yep, it's not on there. ALthough, today is the first day that "2016" is an option on this website. Previously it was just 2015. So maybe it's being uploaded.potus wrote:Did you go to http://www.abarequireddisclosures.org/?jg_ wrote:Has Cardozo not submitted their 2016 employment #'s or am I just not seeing it? Cardozo's seat deposit is tomorrow and any information helps. I may ask for an extension.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
