How do you guys feel about asking admissions for an interview? I applied late October with fairly competitive numbers (around median). The only reason I ask is I know that WUSTL likes to work kind of fast and I don't want to waste time having my app just sit around.

I would do it since it shows interest. I think someone previously said they asked and admissions gave them one

I personally think this may come off as a bit pushy/aggressive. I would not do this but maybe I'm just risk adverse.

I was also wondering the same thing because I'm in the same boat. I'm kinda curious what's going on there because at least on LSN there are quite a few people who applied after I had that were accepted.

That all depends on how you phrase it. I got an invite to do a group interview for georgetown and couldn't make it so I politely asked if there were any alternatives. As long as you don't demand they give you one you're fine

Yes, but I remember my interviewer said the decision would be released in 2-3 weeks after the interview, so it's probably the end of this week or next week .

I was accepted a couple of weeks ago, very soon after my interview. I'm kind of worried because I haven't heard anything about scholarships yet, and WUSTL is one of my top choices. I'm guessing they got backed up because of Thanksgiving.

I was accepted about 5 weeks and have not yet received a scholarship offer. Last year I was offered a full ride within two weeks. I am not sure if I should be overly worried or not, but glad to hear other people have also been kept waiting for a while.

Waiting for some $$$ too. Not as long as 5 weeks tho.
We don't have to fill out any forms to be considered, do we?

No extra forms or anything. They just don't release scholarship info with the acceptance, and the time between can vary.

What is the average wait time between submitting your application and receiving an interview request?

Interviewing in a couple weeks.. Sounds like it's a pretty informal, standard screen for interest? No curve balls like "if your ideal law school experience were a kitchen appliance, what would it be?"

applied 11/12, but was interviewed before I submitted my app. Still haven't heard back
