Status checker still says the same thing it always did.

I'll be a 3L and the status checker will say the same thing it always has.

The status page does change. And they'll send you an email to that effect: "...now that you are a future Longhorn lawyer, your online status page will display features available only to admitted students"

Applied 11/20 and heard literally nothing after the confirmation email until last night- Got a voicemail saying I had been accepted.

So I got an email to join the facebook group for C/O 2020 but haven't heard anything else (my phone has been jacked up for weeks). This is good news, right? Status checker still says the same thing it always did.

I was accepted Wednesday and got that email yesterday. I figured there was a correlation considering it was the first email I had gotten from them in months.

Got dinged earlier this morning. Why Tex Law requested bef Christmas but didn't submit one because I have never been to Texas and the only reason I could think of was its proximity to "T14". What I dont understand tho is why bother sending out fee waivers to OOS applicants if they never intended to accept many.

I haven't been asked for a Why Texas either and went complete around the same time.
I'm not bothering with writing one unless they ask lol. But I'm also not super attached to the idea of going to UT...

It's one of my top choices and it is a reach, especially with their focus on LSAT.

I think it's pretty good if you write the statement, not writing it most likely hurts you.

I've been complete since 11/22 too, but I'm a Tex res. Looking at mylsn there hasn't been that many people who went complete after 11/20 and got a decision. I only see 4 people, with 3 of them being rejections.

Edit: Nvm I see 6 with 4 of them being rejections.

You should always say something in the body of the email as well! Many don't and you'll stand out/ it may come across as rude to just send it with no thanks or anything!:)
