My guess is early/mid-January. Do you guys think its a good idea to send in a LOCI if we applied in early Novermber and say don't hear back at all in January? I had thought that this would be overkill, but apparently Stanford likes you to reiterate interest? That's what it says in one of the comments by Dean Deal here: https://law.stanford.edu/2010/12/07/adm ... it-begins/acz26 wrote:Anyone have any guess as to when the next acceptance waves will be?

Re: Stanford C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017 Cycle)
I sent them an updated resume with my new position and added a continued-interest phrase in the bottom of my email. So I guess that would do until February. I was recommended to send them a LOCI along with news about my life, but that in any case, a LOCI is always a good idea after 3-4 weeks of the last communication you had with Law School, even if you do not have any updates to make to your application.ohgosh wrote:My guess is early/mid-January. Re: Stanford C/O 2020 Applicants (2016-2017 Cycle)
Yes, I have. But I would say it depends. Since it seems that Stanford is reviewing in a truly rolling basis, if you applied early maybe I would not wait since they might just be reviewinf ur app after holidays and this might be a boost regardless of the time u had in the position. Just my opinion btw!canafsa wrote:Daydreamer15 wrote:I sent them an updated resume with my new position and added a continued-interest phrase in the bottom of my email. Have you already begun that position? I'm debating whether I should only send an updated resume after I begin at the end of January. Otherwise it will just be the position and not much else.

I think pretty much all of us are. The status checker doesn't change until you receive a decision, so there's no reason to worry about being at UR1 for a looooooong time...Daydreamer15 wrote:UR1 since 11/1... almost 2 months ... Anyone else in a similar boat?

Hi all --
I submitted my Stanford app on 12/21, and I haven't heard back at all -- no status checker, no confirmation email, etc. Should I be concerned my app wasn't received, or is this just the holidays?

I'm not sure that there's a UR2. I don't think my status checker ever changed before I received my decision.Daydreamer15 wrote:UR1 since 11/1... almost 2 months ... Anyone else in a similar boat?

I notice that someone posted an acceptance (dated today) on LSN about an hour ago. Hoping this means a wave is coming today, but has anyone else heard/seen anything?

Maybe (hopefully not) it's a one-off?big_willy_style_333 wrote:I notice that someone posted an acceptance (dated today) on LSN about an hour ago. Hoping this means a wave is coming today, but has anyone else heard/seen anything?

Just wondering if Stanford does interviews prior to admission like some of the other schools (i.e. Columbia, Harvard, Chicago)?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
