interview invite today. I have a dumb question but better to ask here than adcoms. They say it's via skype, but never asked my skype name. How will they know? Do I send them that later?

They ask for it when you sign up for an interview slot.

An interview can sometimes indicate that there is something odd in your application that they want to learn more about. In her/his case with such high stats, they are interviewing him for Hamilton/Butler.

When you schedule the interview, they ask for your skype name. If you already scheduled yours, you should probably e-mail admissions and give them your username.

Anyone else just get an email from Columbia with the subject "Columbia Law School's Diverse Community"? I'm sure it means nothing, but it definitely made my heart skip a few beats.

keeping a close eye on this now - because now that you're officially in (CONGRATS!) I'm wondering if that e-mail and acceptance are correlated.

I've gotten these type of emails for a few schools, so I would like that correlation to be real
