I think someone else may have asked this and I'm too lazy to search last year's thread, but has anyone heard of being accepted after committing to an interview but before said interview? If my decision is delayed solely because I said that I would interview, that will make me sad.

Can anyone who has more knowledge about this help out?

I have an interview scheduled with Dean Cornblatt soon and have RSVP'd for it. Was I supposed to get an email with details or a confirmation? Should I email the school?

I think the sign-up said that you would get confirmation really close to the interview date, like two days before.

You're right. I actually remember reading this somewhere but mind has been all over the place with all the interview dates to remember. Thanks!

Yes, would like to know more about this, too.....
quite sure this never happened. Based on the last couple of years, GULC doesn't do interviews with auto-admits. Either they are worried about yield or aren't sure about your numbers - either way they want to meet you first.

I appreciate the old school personal touch though. It is a subtle reminder that life can be simple and you should take a moment to let the acceptance sink in. But at the same time a lot of our generation just likes the instantaneous and tolerates very little in between (hence why people go crazy over the admitted students portal hack hah).
