I on the other hand only applied to HLS and it does not make it easier.
Can anyone explain how the financial aid process work? Have u all on the waitlist applied for need access/FAFSA? And is there a downside to apply only after hearing back from schools?

IIRC last cycle they started with people that had already had a JS1. Post-WL JS1s didn't go out until later?Mack.Hambleton wrote:could have movement next weekmernburg wrote:I really hope they start reviewing our apps soon, the wait is killing me

Last year JS1s started on page 18 of the waitlist thread. Let's do this, only six to go!

first movement of any kind last cycle was JS1s going out on may 6th (first tuesday after deadline). Mid may were first JS2s but I think it was mixed between post and pre WL JS1sstoopkid13 wrote:IIRC last cycle they started with people that had already had a JS1. I think this was said somewhere earlier in the thread but does anyone remember when the first WL rejections went out?Mack.Hambleton wrote:first movement of any kind last cycle was JS1s going out on may 6th (first tuesday after deadline). Looks like there are open interview slots for next week - maybe they're getting closer to looking back at the wait list!

Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2018 Waitlist
omg awesome. hopefully it means they overestimated their yield from regular acceptances and are gearing up to have lots of interviews/acceptances off the waitlist.
(caveat - total speculation, could be nothing, i'm just trying to keep my hopes up)

Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2018 Waitlist
Maybe I'm being really hopeful but wouldn't the May 5th and 6th interview slots imply that they might contact some people at the end of this week? Or do they usually just give people a 1 day notice for the interview?mwonka wrote:I can also watch this for you. Can confirm - a total of 9 interview slots appear to be open for May 5 & 6.Mack.Hambleton wrote:HYPEMajinBuu wrote:Looks like there are open interview slots for next week - maybe they're getting closer to looking back at the wait list!

Re: Harvard Law School c/o 2018 Waitlist
Earlier in the cycle with normal JS1's they seemed to give people notice about a week ahead of time, so if they do end up filling those slots I think they would definitely contact those lucky waitlisters this week.mernburg wrote:Maybe I'm being really hopeful but wouldn't the May 5th and 6th interview slots imply that they might contact some people at the end of this week? Does anyone know if Harvard will accept June LSAT? I'm thinking of retaking to help my chances
