Hi Everyone,

I would really appreciate some advice on negotiating scholarships at Fordham! In previous threads I noticed others saying Fordham can be stingy with merit based aid and not very open to negotiating. Is this true in almost all cases? I received the same amount of $ from Fordham that I did from Vandy, BC & BU and got about $10k more from GW. Is is basically hopeless to think I could negotiate more money from them? Are there any strategies anyone else has used that worked in order to get more aid? Thanks!!!

I successfully negotiated more aid by telling them about my best offer from my best school. The whole process was quick and painless.

Over email. Just wrote a straightforward but polite email outlining my circumstances and got a great response. Good luck!

My scholarship offer came the next day via email.
But I'm not sure if that's reliable in your case since Fordham is about to have a break for a while.

Just got in via email! Applied 1/12, Complete 2/4, Date Changes on 3/25 and 3/26. Did anyone get scholarship info in acceptance letter? How long is the typical wait for scholly after acceptance notification?

Congrats everybody! Applied 1/2, last date change was 3/3, and I'm still sitting at complete. I was really hoping for some news before Fordham went on their Easter break. Looks like I might have to make a decision on law schools without hearing from Fordham.

Yeah, you should be under review. When'd you submit? Mine had several date changes but the status never changed from "Your application is complete" while I was UR.

Accepted via email as well! Hoping scholarship info comes soon. Sent around 2/3 ish, complete 2/12, date change 3/30. Congrats to the others and good luck to the rest still waiting!! I feel like there's a chance they might work during the break... at least maybe tomorrow?

Accepted the end of last week and got my scholarship email this week. I got a full-ride to BU but Fordham only offered 40k total.
