I'm debating it. I feel like it's customary to thank them, but I don't know if a phone call would be anything but a weird disruption. Thanks everyone for the kind words! I'm not exactly shocked, but I had to give it a try! I haven't ruled out trying to transfer, but I'm going to wait out my cycle to see what happens.
